‘Tycho is skipping class’ is a comic book designed exclusively for iPad. The story is written and illustrated by Niels De Paepe. It came into being in Niels’ Master year at the Royal Academy of Fine in Ghent, Belgium. With this comic book, Niels wants to break away from the printed matter. Instead, he intends to create a whole new experience in reading digital comics.
Development
Rumble Comic is produced by Sumocoders, a Belgian company that specializes in both web developments as developing applications in iOS. Sumocoders and Niels worked closely together in order to establish a satisfying result.
